Vendredi soir au stade du Boulet de Lanta aura lieu la seconde édition du tournoi « Alain Boyer ». Une compétition en hommage à l’ancien président du club du Bourg-Lanta, trop tôt disparu. Les dirigeants du LFC ont remis au goût du jour ce tournoi pour lancer la saison des équipes non engagées en coupe de France.
Sous forme de demi-finale et finale, la réserve et les U19 du Lauragais, Labège et Auzielle tenteront d’inscrire leur nom au palmarès de l’édition 2013. Ce trophée a deux objectifs, le premier de préparer sportivement et physiquement les effectifs aux futures joutes officielles, et le second de passer un bon moment de convivialité afin d’honorer la mémoire de ce dirigeant ayant marqué l’histoire du club et du football départemental.
