Ce mercredi 20 mai à Auzielle, se jouait un quart de finale de coupe du District U15 : les jeunes de l’entente Lauragais/Auzielle recevaient l’équipe de Venerque/Le Vernet, leader de leur poule en championnat et vainqueurs des 2 confrontations cette saison.
L’exploit n’aura pas lieu puisque, après avoir tenu une mi-temps (2-2) grâce à des buts de Guilhem Arcens et Mathieu Marti , les hommes d’Alex Bacou se sont finalement inclinés 5-2
Réaction d’Alex Bacou : « on parvient à revenir à 2-2 avant la mi-temps alors qu’on été menés 2-0 et on a même la balle de 3-2 ! Malheureusement on rate le cadre … La deuxième mi-temps sera décevante : on offre le 3ème but à nos adversaires puis on craque …. C’est surtout notre manque de maîtrise au milieu de terrain qui nous a fait défaut. »
Félicitations tout de même à ces jeunes qui ont réussi une très belle saison (3ème en championnat et quart de finale de coupe) ainsi qu’à la catégorie U15 dans son ensemble !
